Multilingual Family Publishing was created by Ka Yee Meck and Florence Wong, two sisters who grew up in Hong Kong and London. Despite now living almost 10,000 km apart (one in England, one in Japan!), they teamed up to bring their linguistic and artistic expertise together, with the aim of creating beautiful books for multilingual families around the world.

Florence Wong is currently based in Tokyo. Since graduating from Central Saint Martins in 2012, she has been working as a freelance illustrator, and some of her clients include the Boticca website, the Veggy magazine and the Asahi Student Newspaper. Florence gets her inspiration from animals, plants, food and everyday objects, and works with both digital and traditional medium.
Ka Yee Meck is a freelance translator, language instructor and writer based in the UK. She has a degree in History of Art from the University of Cambridge and multiple professional qualifications.
